How long does installation take?

Most installations are completed in 1 working day. Drop your van off in the morning and collect it fully fitted and tested that same afternoon.

Do I need a leisure battery?

Yes — diesel heaters are designed to run from your 12V leisure battery, not your main vehicle battery. If you don’t already have one installed, we can supply and fit:

Leisure Battery + Split Charge Relay System: +£495 (fitted)

This powers your heater, lights, fridge, and other 12V systems.

Can you install a diesel heater in any van?

Not when installed properly. We use noise-dampened fuel pumps, soft mountings, and high-quality silencers on all ducting and exhaust systems. The fan is audible at full blast, but most customers find it barely noticeable — especially while sleeping.

Can I run the diesel heater while driving?

Technically yes — but for safety, we recommend using it when parked only, especially overnight or during stops. Most customers use it for heating up before bed and when waking up.

Can I control the heater remotely?

Yes! You can upgrade to:

Remote control: operate your heater from inside your home or tent
App control: use your phone to turn it on/off or adjust settings
